Homeowners are responsible for updating Home Owner Insurance Company. Mortage Company, Utility Company for shut off dates where to forward refunds/escrow returns.
If your Closing Date is delayed-It is the Home Owner responsibility to keep your Insurance and utilitites from being canceled until actual closing date.
